About your course expert
The course facilitator has 18 years’ experience in Petrochemical plants. He has specialized in medium as well as low voltage electrical motors in hazardous locations. He is registered with Department of Higher Education Reg No: NAMB-A/2014/0470. He specializes in explosion prevention training, auditing of Ex repairs and manufacturing facilities, as well as selection and installation of Explosion Protected Equipment (EPE). He also specializing in investigations and audits of incidents in hazardous locations. He published numerous articles in the Vec- tor magazine regarding explosion prevent in hazardous locations. He is SAFA management member; SAFA executive member; SAFA organizing committee member. He won the SAFA award for the Ex contributor of the year 3 consecutive years as well as the SAFA president’s award in 2013; Winner of Sasol award as best presenter at SAFA Symposium 2015. Received the Sasol award for the best SAFA Symposium presenter in 2015. He is also part of SANS 10142- 1 work group and the convener of SANS 10142-4 for medical locations
